We inform you that, after the summer school, we will manage the placement of 20 energy-SSH early-stage researchers into 10 Horizon 2020 energy projects. Working in pairs (2 researchers per project), they will support the project coordinators, over 2-4 week placements, to identify ways in which SSH can be embedded in their remaining deliverables. This offer is indeed a good opportunity to do an early-stage within a European project on energy (Horizon 2020), in the period from July to December this year. Travel bursaries will be provided to facilitate the involvement of doctoral students. If you are interesting, please do not hesitate to contact us: delphine.burguet@entpe.fr
The lunches will be taken in charge by the summer school.
You have the possibility to stay in a university residence for the price of 23 € per night. In order to register you must send a reservation e-mail to: delphine.burguet@entpe.fr and make a bank transfer to the organization CROUS one week before your arrival in Lyon.
Two parallel living labs will be organized on Wednesday June, 21. Each living lab can welcome 20 persons. In order to better organize it we would like to know your preference as soon as possible. The first living lab is a bike experiment. The objective is to question what it means to be at ease on a bike and what are the implications for policy making. The morning will be devoted to the practice of the bike (about 30 minutes) and to data restitution. The afternoon will be devoted to debating sessions with researchers and practitioners working mobility issues. The second living lab is an energy experiment. The morning will be devoted to experiment what energy is in a laboratory of the ENTPE and the afternoon will be dedicated to the visit of the Eco district of Confluence in Lyon. The living lab and visit is organized by Dr. Mohamed El Mankibi a researcher in power engineering.
On Monday afternoon, you will have the opportunity to present your research. Parallels sessions will be organized by themes. In order to make it a success and allow a fruitful discussion of your work we ask you to send us a presentation of your research of 5 to 10 pages that has to be sent by e-mail before June, 1st to Delphine Burguet (delphine.burguet@entpe.fr). Furthermore could you check that the online presentation contains the following elements: title ; subject ; topics ; methodology ; disciplines ; key-words...
